COKE WITH ICE

Two heroes driving a 1935 Lagonda M35 Le Mans Rapide through a snowstorm in St. Moritz. The title comes from what happened right after the shot: after hours of driving in –8°C, the logical order at the Julier Pass hospice restaurant seemed to be hot tea — yet they asked for a Coke with ice. Published in Car Guys (2020), the book by Fabrizio D’Aloisio on the culture of owning a classic car, this image became one of its signature frames.
