GONE SKIING

A Lancia 037 — the legendary Group B rally weapon — pauses at the base of a St. Moritz ski lift, blending motorsport heritage with the surreal charm of the Engadin winter. This photograph is part of the iconic and widely published “Lockdown Edition” image series created for the classic car event The I.C.E. St. Moritz in 2021. Although all events were canceled at the time, that didn’t stop The I.C.E. crew and photographer Fabrizio D’Aloisio from staging a memorable photo shoot that has since entered the visual history of St. Moritz.
