STREET FIGHTER

This photograph was made as part of Car Guys – The Culture of Owning a Classic Car and portrays a Bentley Continental R Coupé (1996), driven by Italian car collector and entrepreneur Eugenio Amos. Commissioned by Carlo Talamo at Mulliner, the car was radically reworked at a time when Bentley was still shaped by an independent, almost rebellious spirit. Stripped down, lightened, and subtly brutal in its presence, it stands in sharp contrast to the polished excess often associated with luxury automobiles. Photographed in motion, Street Fighter is less about the car as an object than about attitude. The image captures a fleeting moment where elegance, aggression, humour, and understatement coexist — a reminder that true character often emerges when conventions are ignored.
